Apple Day at Natland

What a great little treat for the little ones.

Natland village hall hosted an Apple Day on Saturday 28th September 2013 to celebrate the harvest, children decorated their apples for prizes, winner to be announced.

Lovely cakes were on sale. I had to buy the apple sponge and apple crumble, which was later devoured with an accompaniment of rice pudding!

Bobbing for apples proved to be a tricky process for the little ones, but nonetheless a healthy treat for those who managed to grab one!

To add to the creativity of this blog, we had some lovely tattoo's for the children (non permanent of course!) as displayed below. All in all a very fun day and a great to little diversion for the boys!

Please note, I am not a photographer as my skills below clearly demonstrate!
